How a call works
Three steps, no mystery. You know the price before anyone picks up a tool.
- Tell us what the door is doingYou describe the symptom — a bang then nothing, a door hanging crooked, an opener that hums. The dispatcher usually knows the failed part from that alone.
- Get a flat price and a real windowWe quote the repair as a flat number on that call, and give you an arrival window we can actually hold in Utah. If it's an after-hours job, that add-on is quoted then too, not on the invoice.
- Door fixed, then testedThe technician replaces what failed, re-balances the door, tests the auto-reverse, and runs it a full cycle with you watching before taking payment.

What customers say
Tune-up
Booked the tune-up mostly to stop the screeching. They also flagged a spring with a hairline crack. Replaced it before it let go.
Janae C.Roy, UtahDoor replacement
Old door was original to the house. New one went in over a morning and the difference in noise is huge.
Paige S.Park City, UtahNew install
Had a new insulated door put in before winter. Garage is noticeably warmer and the install crew cleaned up everything.

Opener repair questions
Why does my garage door reverse before it closes?
Nine times out of ten it's the safety sensors near the floor — knocked out of alignment, dirty, or with a broken wire. It can also be the close-force setting. Either way it's a quick diagnosis on a Utah visit.
Is it worth repairing an old garage door opener?
If it's under roughly twelve years old and the fault is a gear kit, capacitor, sensor or board, repair usually makes sense. Past that, parts availability gets thin and a new belt-drive unit is often the better spend. We'll give you both figures before you decide.
Can you program a new remote or keypad?
Yes, including replacement remotes, exterior keypads, wall consoles and car-integrated buttons. It's frequently bundled into another Utah repair at no extra visit charge.
My opener hums but the door doesn't move. What's wrong?
Usually a stripped gear, a failed capacitor, or a broken spring leaving the door too heavy for the motor. The last one matters most — running the opener against a broken spring damages the unit, so stop using it until it's looked at.
